Karma at its finest.

Take a train, parked car and an argument with your girlfriend and you have attempted murder. Unfortunately, for this poor sap, this attempted murder turned out to be an odd twist of irony.

In USA, a man attempted to kill his girlfriend by parking his car on the tracks and jumping out of the car when they were arguing. As you would expect, the train did hit the car, but unlike the movies there was no huge explosion. Instead, the car flew off the tracks, hitting the man as he attempted to flee the scen, killing him instantly. His girlfriend was admitted to the hospital and is expected to live.

On one sense, this is karma taken its toll; in another, it’s Darwin at its peek. Either way, it is pretty funny and a well deserved end for the guy. I am not one to promote death, but I do believe if you take a life, you deserve to give yours up.

New direction for EverQuest II?

One of my biggest complains about EverQuest II is the very fact the game was not fun. Graphics were too much; animations were poor on just about everything; models looked very, very bad; locked encounters forced grouping making solo play unfun; forced “direction” through the game; too many classes; and the list goes on.

A friend passed over an article asking about the very future of EverQuest II. Looks like they are starting to see the light of things — their game plain sucked. As Scott Hartsman put it, “When your designers aren’t playing your game, that means something is deeply, deeply wrong.”

Time is going really, really, slow…

This is great. I don’t smoke marijuana, nor have I ever tried it, but I at least know you cannot over dose on that stuff.

If I know this, you would think a cop would, too. And lets not forget the fact that this cop openly admitted to confiscating the dope and cooking it within brownies. Priceless.

News report of the incident:

Robber with unloaded gun killed by loaded gun

Darwin at its finest!

A robbery and crime spree aided by an unloaded gun came to a halt late Thursday when the gunman met more than his match: a gun with bullets.

Charles Parker Jr., 18, of Detroit was killed when a 53-year-old man pulled out a 9mm handgun and shot the teen, who was armed with an unloaded .22-caliber handgun.

This is what dreams are made of…

Word of note to all you would be robbers; don’t walk the walk unless you’re prepared to take the chance.
